Thanks to everyone that came out the past two weeks for the 2017 Maverik FREESTATE Tryouts. It was a great tryout for all three groups. The MSLCA takes evaluation process very seriously. There was a lot of great lacrosse played the past two weeks and a lot of very good players. When considering the scope of talent that comes out for FREESTATES it is a very difficult task to evaluate and rank the players. For the TOP 44 we had 15 evaluators ranking the players in the TOP 44. Each evaluator ranked his top players at each position he evaluated and those rankings were assigned a point value. Those rankings were entered into a database that totals the rankings from the TOP 44 and the first round tryouts. The top players with the most cummulative points at each position have been selected. Inevitably, great players will still miss out on making it through the process. If you did not make it this time for this team keep working and improving your game!

For those that played in the TOP 44 Games... CruitCast filmed the full game and will have the game film available for purchase if you would like to have a copy or would like to have a copy so you can add plays to your highlight films. More information will be coming with links to purchasing the films if you wish to purchase a copy.

Congratulations to the following players that have been selected to the MSLCA Maverik FREESTATE TOP 22 teams. There will be more detailed information about the TOP 22 games and opponents coming later this week. Full TOP 22 rosters will also be posted later this week.
